mouse over for before | after

hi kim!

i certainly love the luminosity of your moo cows ~ fantastic texture work ~ and yes indeed, that calf is as cute as the dickens ... : )

i really like that you added the duplicate on top ~ oh so clever and effective!

feeling a bit more myself today ... sort of ...

at least the morning felt like everything was right in the world ...

a cleaned off dining room table ~ a bouquet of freshly cut peonies ~ a bowl full of fruit and some muffins right out of the oven ...

i wasn't sure how this would work with textures, but i was SO anxious to try your 2for2 from today!

so, this recipe is similar to the italian sausage pasta with fresh herbs that i made for supper ...

a little of this and a little of that ... oh ... and maybe some of that ... : )

here we go ~

. background image . slight curve adjustments
. added a hue | saturation adjustment layer and took the saturation down 25
. added your new grunge texture (2cool!) . color burn blending . 38% opacity
. added yet another grunge texture layer . hue blending at 47% opacity
. layer mask was added to both grunge layers, softly brushing out peonies and fruit
. added your new paged texture (this really pops the light!) . overlay blending . 20% opacity
. added your market square overlay (collection 1) . soft light blending . 100% . layer mask, brushing out edges
. then i added a separate colour layer dabbing a little of this and that of a dissolved brush ... shhh secret ... ; )
. and now ... for the seasoning ... i added your pumpkin grunge texture to warm things up ...

kim? kim? did you fall asleep during my recipe?

i know you've been working far too hard these last couple of days ...

i'll just tippy toe out of here ...

shhhhh ...

nighty night my friend ~
xoxo

I love how you described that! A beautiful image, and yes, sometimes it takes just a tiny little pinch of something to make it just perfect!
