good morning pg,
happy tuesday...
before i forget...john is pleased as can be about his garden... even his taters are coming up.... soooo happy for him....
and of course for all of us.....
so a little sunshine would be nice.
don't ya think?
how's your giant garden by the way? you AMAZE me....
'sigh'
so sorry i was mia yesterday. gosh i have lots to share with you..... it was quite the day.
so here's another image from my drive with andy on saturday.
and here's the photoshop scoop.
I did a levels adjustment on the image. then i went ahead and selected the barn.
with the barn selected, i did a hue/saturation adjustment layer set to colorize, which brought out the red in the barn.
i then added 2 layers of my new 2 for texture 'graduation day' one layer at multiply and the second layer at soft light. both at 100%
then a layer of my second 2 for texture 'broken book' at multiply 80%
finally, i brought the original image up to the top of the stack and set the blending mode to soft light at 50%.
the latest 2 for textures are posted on my blog...
and that as they say ... is that....
tak soon....xxo, kim

fabulous. you are amazing.
i agree with kelly ... you ARE amazing ...
i am thrilled that john's garden is coming along ... i knew it would ... he will tend to it with such gentleness, each plant will want to grow for him!
so ... i LOVE your processing on this barn ... and i have to say i knew i knew this barn, but the red on the ends was throwing me ... but after i sat and played the 'mouse over' game for a while, i knew it was the barn i used to see from the school bus window, enroute to high school! the poor thing has been faded for some time, but still standing! it sure is a unique shape, eh? (canadian ... *wink*)
i love your two next textures ... i sure smiled when i saw you named one 'graduation day' ...
two sleeps ... just two sleeps ...
cheerio for now ~
