oh my, that's a wet one out there.... no picture taking on the trail today...
"sigh".....
but the rain is lovely for sure.
hope you are well, pg...
i hear you are heading to the gardening workshop tonight. :)
john is going as well....
so let me see what did i do with this image?
converted it to a b&w image using a gradient map adjustment layer.
added a sepia toned filter.
added the texture "history" from my collection, but i desaturated the texture using a hue/saturation adjustment layer.
kay, is that clear as mud or what? :)
such fun... i do love a makeover..... ♥
xxo, kim
oh and before i go.... thought i'd share the view thru my window earlier ..... "sigh"... i am sure the grass is 2 shades greener already....

it's very romantic.
so, so pretty, and I love, love that you tell us how you did it! Hope your sun is shining tomorrow!
hi hi!
i really like how you achieved a lovely vintage look with these pretty blooms ...
clever you to convert to b & w initially ... hmmm ... going to keep that one tucked in my noggin for another day ... thanks! ('clear as mud' on a rainy day ~ funny girl ;)
oh! i had another idea for a field trip for you and i ... but of course with so many ideas flying between these ears, i've lost it for now ... but when i find it, i'll be sure to share!
love the water droplets on the window ...
when i was driving my mom to an appt in the city, i had to slow the car down a few times as the rain was beating down so hard ... but you sure are right about how lovely the rain is as it was getting pretty dry and everything needed a 'shower'!
later gater,
pg
