how goes the course development?

did you hear that your students are all vying for positions in the classroom?
i got quite the giggle of the conversations in christina's comments ... :)

well my dear ~ it's texture tuesday ... play day!

i was going to work on an image from my garden shed ...

y'know ~ cuz it will soon be time to get the pots out and get humming in the garden ... eeeeexcited!

but with today's wind and showers and overall gloominess, i was pretty much attracted to ollie napping ...

and thinking that today is perfect for a nap ...

for rejuvenation, restoration, refreshing, re-energizing ...

zzzz's for the rrrrr's ...

i wanted to lighten the image and make it more sunny, so i went to work ...


. adjusting the curves


. fiddled in unsharpen mask


. added a blue layer . added a watercolour pattern overlay


. added 2 of your light parchment textures from your sweet collection 
  (have i ever mentioned how much i like these? ... :)


. added layer masks to the three layers and brushed out ollie to let the sun dance on his little face ...

gosh, i seriously feel like a nap now!
