in fact, every bit of your image is perfect ....

well ... april first means a lot to me ...

today would be the day that ever since i can remember my dad would play an april fool's trick on me ...

even in his quieter dementia days, he would phone me to tell me there was a hot air balloon out his window ...

in town ...

and it was so big i ought to be able to see it from my window in the country ...

and so i try to carry on the tradition with my boys and hb ...

funny, they didn't see the hot air balloon this morning ... *wink* ...

and *tear* ...

anyways ... this little nest is one that my dad found one autumn, years ago, that had fallen from a tree in our bush ...

he brought it in to show me how wonderful it is, how the birds make these little homes for their babies ...

so i placed this beautiful piece of art in a few branches in a bottle on the window ledge ...

and then one day when i found a feather, i placed it in the nest ...

i am thinking the bird was very wee that lived in this precious home.

tonight the light was shining through so prettily, it was the right moment to capture it ...

and share it with you ...
