mouse over to see the before and terribly crooked image... 'sigh'

happiest texture tuesday,

oh yah, that was some day...  yikes...

in fact as soon as i post this up andy and i are running away to the trail.  'sigh'

here's my recipe.
i desaturated this image of the peaceful tree
then i added a little sepia tone back in.
then i added a layer of my distress texture on soft light
next a layer of the history texture also on soft light
next a fill layer of warm brown.
and finally i used my grunge clipping mask to create the grubby edges.

i'm afraid, my friend it's pretty dull compared to your amazing piece of art...
truly beautiful.

can't wait for tomorrow... it will be different?  right?

oh your lovely lovely peaceful tree ...

it could never ever be dull, my dear ... the feeling of this image of this beautiful tree evokes such tranquility ...

and it's just down the trail ... :)

but say! i was a little nervous to hear your story about the trail after hearing that the coyotes are back to the area ... AND a black bear! so, please do take care out there!

we are in a new day and it does feel better ...
oh! i've added my 'mouse over' and recipe et al to my post yesterday ... just a 'little later' than expected ... ;)

here's to an awesome day!

Love this, and it is so nice to hear exactly how you did it. I don't find it dull at all but quite striking!
