oh my, pg...so happy you shared the end of your day!!
brilliant!! so beautiful!
so my day was spent....mostly in the car. i am soooo soooo glad to be home.
gosh i love my home, being home.. home sweet home...
john thought we needed a picture of this tree.... so we stopped and i took a few from afar...
this really symbolizes how the day felt. one long, long road!
then we moved ahead....and i took a few more.
what a lovely tree!
it's lovely, i think.
sooo tired... lots to say...but i think i will walk andy and catch you back here tomorrow...

it makes me smile so that once again we had the same thoughts going on ...
you and the 'half way' tree ...
and my 'twelve months of tree' tree ...
i know i know ... it all sounds crazy ...
but for those who might read this comment, let me explain that kim drove to the capital of our province today ... and this old tree has been deemed the 'half way' tree for as long as i can remember to everyone who drives this stretch of prairie road ... the half way point to the 'city' ... and half way back 'home' ...
so glad you are home ~
i hear ya ~ we can never be on the road home soon enough!
(love the sky ... i was thinking you would have some pretty sky this morning!)
pg xo
sorry ... i forgot to say ... and yes, i do love this tree as well ... it sure withstands a great deal ... xo
i came to visit this morning and that was my first thought... 'hey... i think that is the half-way tree'!
if they ever do another great canadian song quest on CBC perhaps we'll have to try and garner support for a song about the half-way tree... it is truly a beautiful tree and Kim, you have just captured it perfectly! awesome.
brings back some memories of that drive... and my wonderful home province!
love,
b
haven't been by in a bit, I love all the images...but that's not surprising! It is so fun to peek in on your ongoing conversation, a storybook unfolding...
Tree pictures are always amazing (and real trees) . There is a quote by Dali Lama ~ "A tree with strong roots can withstand the most violent storm, but the tree can't grow roots just as the storm appears on the horizon". Thanks again for the beautiful pictures.
