oh gosh golly gee ...
you know ...
ever since that day your so graciously offered me that lovely cup of tea ...
a day when i was running crazy ...
i have been wanting to return the favour ...
so today ...
for you ...
and all our friends who are busy as *bee*s working away ...
creating . writing . clicking . knitting . drawing . painting . working ...
here is a wee sip of tea ...
to soothe ...
: : :
i almost forgot to mention about 'texture tuesday'!
thanks to your dandy texture collection, here is what i did with this image ...
. i did some fidgeting (that's an official photoshop term *wink*) with my background image in curves
. some more fidgeting with hue/saturation adding a layer mask and removing my hand and cup
. added your 'peacock' texture ~ soft light blending ~ 100%
. added your 'zen thing' texture ~ soft light blending ~ 100%
. added your 'gesso' texture ~ soft light blending (doubled this layer) ~ add layer mask ~ remove hand/cup
. added a layer of pure white ~ multiple blending ~ 100%
. added *sip* in dream cake font ... just for fun!
it is so interesting how the image evolves with each texture and application ...
: : :
oh! and please mouse over to see the before and after ...
um, speaking of mice ...
you might want to see this ...
i'm still smiling and i hope you are today as well ~
*hug*

i wanted to say that the colour of the tea is more true in the texture image ... it is wild giant hyssop tea picked in northern manitoba ... delightful!
xo

i hope you and others took a moment to sip
some tea along the way in your crazy day ... xo

i'll just pop on by, shall i? and i'll pick my mug... and we'll sit in the studio... and gab away for the rest of the day?
