oh, my, what a beautiful image you have shared. lady of the lake really knows how to decorate for the seasons!
i will be honest.. i am finding it difficulut to get into the spirit of christmas this year. i'm not sure why....but it doesn't feel like christmas is just around the corner! how did that happen? perhaps it was the warm weather in november that has thrown me off. hmmmm.
i am not quite finished decorating. and because the actual day is just around the corner, i am debating on how far to go with it all. i have several trees, but i only put the big one up this weekend. simplicity seems to be calling my name these days. ya know?
so, i made the paper chain out of pages from an old book with john's help. brett, commented that they are brown...and he told his friend that instead of a white christmas, the klassens have a brown christmas. yeesh. he thinks my country christmas decor is brown! 2funny! anyhow, i will share a pic this week of the whole tree. i'm not sure i am loving the paper chain garland. but after all that cutting and stapling etc, i am not taking it down. :)
as for the trail adventure....thankfully andy and i are safe and sound. coyotes, totally freak me out. i have heard some scary stories about them. i will not go on the trail, that late in the day again! seriously freaky!
i can't wait to hear about your shopping trip. perhaps a visit to the shops would get me in the spirit?
well, it's time to finish up and turn in. i look forward to tomorrow. i love mondays! maybe i can explain that crazy statement in an upcoming post. :)
see you thru the screen....xxo, kim
