hello hello dear kim ~
well ... what a day yesterday was! such inspiration from the local shops for making our festive season merry and bright ....
but first ... OMG! ... you scared the pants off me with your posting about you and andy on the trail ... OMG ... the coyotes are truly are getting braver and braver and my heart leapt BIG time at the thought of you the andy scadaddling off the trail as quick as you could ... you know you could always knock on my mom's door (readers ~ my mom lives on the edge of the trail) ... anyways, i know you would be scared silly (i just can't think of how scared you were) ... i am SO grateful that you and andy were ok ... i had goosebumps on goosebumps ... seriously.
sorry... back to yesterday's excursion with the girls ...of course, one of our stops was lady of the lake and they always create such beautiful displays ... this one is of clear blocks simply filled with twinkle lights, tied with exquisite ribbon and topped with a dark, yet captivating piece of seasonal decor ... it was stunning, set on the handsome wooden bar of the cafe ~ every bit of the cafe and shop is a feast for the eyes! ... (thanks bridget for letting me take and share a few snapshots of your creations!) ...
can't wait to see how you have decorated your home over the weekend, kim ... are you feeling oh so festive now?
i had high hopes of decorating today, but there was cleaning to do first ... and well, surface didn't seem to suffice ... and omgoodness what have i gotten myself into?
warm hugs on this frigid winter eve ~
always 2bbb,
prairiegirl xoxo
