oh my ...
thank you so much for keeping 2bbb afloat these days, kim ...
especially when you have SO much cooking at your café ... *sizzle* ... hot stuff!!
i am feeling so tired after the last few days ...
you might say i've gone 'over board' ... 'capsized' ...
and now, i am dizzy on top of it with all you are doing ...
so, i thought on my return, i would give you some sweets ...
sweet feathery peony petals ...
and sweet pink mints ...
just like the ones that were always in my grandma's china cabinet ...
because you are 2sweet for all you do ...

oh right! the recipe (i know i know ~ it's wednesday ... ; )
i was looking to soften this right up and really pink all over ...
. right away i added your white wash texture from your bakers doz collection . color blending. 100% opacity . layer mask to brush out the bloom and candies
. a few adjustments with the curves
. then i added your frosted texture (again from your bakers doz collection) . screen blending . 46% opacity
. then, i got done to some tricky business ... i altered your amazing layers texture ... just a teensy!
~ i inverted the image . added a hue | saturation layer (colorize) bumping saturation 46 and lightness 68
~ added that as an overlay . 59% opacity
. i duplicated the above layer . multiply blending . 59% opacity
zippity. do. da ~ sweet pink for you!

hoping to recap some festival highlights and maybe share an image or two from hb's trip to england and france ~ his images of the architecture and art are phenomenally inspiring!
how do you say ... i would love to dabble in monet some day ... : )
seriously, i was thinking that might be part of my 'perfect day' ~ to take an art course in paris ... ah oui!
for now ... much love always,
prairiegirl
xo
ps. i just want to say how extra special it is that your textures are truly pieces of art ...
so perfectly created with your hands ... heart ... and head ...
