top of the morning to you, kim!

thought i would try and get in here 'earlier' today before i get outside and get dirty!

did i say to you that i couldn't wait til today ~ texture tuesday ~ so that i could try out your new
'crackle love' texture?

i have to say that while everyone else was getting a 'crack' at it ... i was getting anxious!

LOVE crackle love ... well done, again mrs. klassen ~ trés cool.

... thank you so much for your kind generosity and sharing this texture for all to try ... xo

i had taken a pic of our lovely phoebe (fly catcher) who nests annually above the window at our back porch door ...

i loved how the light outlined him/her but it was so bright and i wasn't quite focussed ...

and this is where textures can so help enhance a photo ...

here's what i did ~

. background ~ slight curve adjustments ~ slight blur filter
. added a new hue/saturation adjustment layer ... -21 saturation, added a pattern overlay to this layer
. added your 'crackle love' texture, soft light
. added another 'crackle love' texture, multiply ~ adjusted opacity

what awesomeness are you going to share with us today, my dear?

can't wait to see ...

i'll be checking in!

off to the garden ~
