i never really appreciated these closely until this year. i always appreciated them for their clusters and scent... and the way an entire tree or bush of them looks, but not each individual flower and petal.
it was having a camera with a macro lens that had me seeing them in a new way this year. too bad they come and go so quickly. *sigh* indeed.
