oh my word, mrs. k ~ your lilac images are absolutely breathtaking!
your processing is fabulous ... so vintage ... so much so i would love to have that in fabric ... oh yes ...
keep up the great back lane mission!
*pause*
so.
wondering where i was all morning?

here i was!
sitting at the end of our road ... in the rain (in my car) ... waiting for the mailman ...
so that i could intercept a parcel that might otherwise go back to the depot and not be retrievable til tuesday ...
lucky for me ...
i took along my latest drool magazine and my nifty new dollarama green reading glasses ... :) and ...
i found wedding candies to eat ~ favours from the first wedding i played at ...
'kisses' all gone now ~ um, not for the bride and groom though ... ;) ... and ...
i had a pencil (no eraser) and a napkin to sketch out some gardening ideas after drooling over that mag ...
plus a nice visit with a passing neighbour ...
then the sun eventually came out ...
and three hours later, the mailman arrived with ...
no parcel.
*darn*
it was kinda fun and funny...
but if i'm not going to be in the garden, then i am pretty sure i would rather be cruising the back lanes capturing the lilacs with you!
i echo your may long wishes ~ happy weekend all ... :)

ps. it was late afternoon when hb finally heard from the post office and the lost was found ~ the parcel has now been retrieved ... phew.
pps. the MOST fun of the day however? google's header celebrating PACMAN's 30th birthday ... what a blast! (but turn your volume down ... ;)
