kim! oh my ... did you think i got lost in a snow bank ... literally?
we so love the warmer weather, but we always seem to pay for it, don't we?
all the power issues with the ice fog and freezing rain on friday made for craziness all 'round ... i'm so glad we had at least one little telephone chat in the day!
the 2 hour outage in the early evening meant our 6:30 curling game was cancelled, and we were already on our way to town, so we just hunkered down at the neighbours and visited by candlelight ...
but, i didn't realize you were out of power AGAIN until just before midnight when one of our son's called from my moms to ask if we had power. bless his little heart for staying with her most of the day and that night as her 'lift' chair doesn't work of course without power, so he was able to help her out of her chair when need be ...
our friday curling game was moved to 9 am saturday morning, so between games and the banquet et al, we were there from 8:30 am til nearly midnight ... phew! a long, but fun day ... lots of aching muscles ~ especially the belly laugh muscles! we head out again in an hour for another game, so thought i'd best be in touch! (thank goodness i only do curling bonspiels once a year!) ...
so, you must know how soothing your image is to me this morning! hot tea and fresh bread ... sigh ...
