i really and truly love playing with textures ~ thank you SO much for introducing me to this aspect of photo art ...
ok, so here is my original pic ... a little blurry to begin with it's own dynamic texture (that would be the dust laden texture ... giggle.) ...
i love this old rotary phone and it does still work! the handset is quite heavy though, so you want to keep the conversations short ...
and then! adding your very cool texture (what exactly is it anyways? board of some sort?) ... adding a layer of copper colour with a 'difference' setting ... and voila!
it is a bit radical and kinda dark and maybe doesn't look that comforting ... but my thought originally was how comforting it is to know that a friend is just a phone call away ... always ...
