dear kim ~ your image yesterday of john and elli was lovely and thoughtful and you have me thinking of time in a new light today ... and by chance i just happened to recently come across this photo of a certain little prairiegirl practicing piano ... 44 years ago this month ... (the time stamp says feb '66, but my mom has january '66 written on the back) ... how time has flown and how blessed i was that my parents gave me the gift of lessons and encouraged me to spend the time practicing ... i am grateful beyond words ...
as i type i am listening to some crazy fast timed classical music on julie nesrallah's tempo on cbc radio2 ...
as soothing and peaceful as music can be, it can be equally stimulating and exhilarating ...
it's all about time ... about the beat ... and more importantly about the rest and pause ... as in life ...
