tee hee ... sorry ... got the giggles here cuz i was SURE you were going to post about christmas baking today ... i guess after seeing that wonderful image over at your cafe! (lucky you to have your mom and aunti baking for the family ~ they are incredible cooks! ... and i can almost smell those nuts and bolts roasting ... yummers)
anyways, i thought to myself ... there we go again ... thinking the same ... and i guess we were, just in different places!
this image is from when i was rolling out and baking the little bow-tie dainties for our community dainty exchange on monday ... how did they turn out, you ask? that's a story for another day... wink ... but i was grateful for my angel friend watching over ... and a cup of hot tea to help me through!
kim, your mantlepiece is beautiful ... so calming and peaceful ... i can only imagine the lovely glow of the candles lit in the evening ... your home is so charming and welcoming ~ no wonder you have so many coming and going ... (and probably lots wanting to stay!)

i am off to play my harp again today ... for a wedding reception ... looking forward to seeing the happy couple and their families as they are from my brother's town ... and then to our friend's for some christmas cheer ...
