i had to giggle about you being in the city shopping this morning, as i was amidst the crowd as well! i even took my camera should we actually meet and i thought it would be a funny sight to share with our friends ... but the masses must have kept us from meeting ...
in a brief encounter today with a friend, he lamented on how much he dislikes the way commercialism has overtaken christmas and the holiday season ~ he was calm and sincere and almost sad ... and i just ache at how much it must hurt for those so caught up in a 'must do', extending themselves beyond their limits in too many areas ... and all along i kept thinking that last night when your boys ... all your boys gathered for that hour by your tree, how that would the best gift of all ... the very best gift of all ...
i LOVE your 'night before christmas' greeting card idea ... you are SO clever and i really hope folks will print off a few to share with someone special ... the background is so cool ...
