LOVE how you applied the texture to your image ... how you used it to create weather in the sky ... and look how the white lines of the barn just pop out now ... wow and beautiful ... as are all your images flowing in your flickr stream!
and to answer your question ~ the texture is a photo of morning sunlight creating shadows on an old wooden door (not the prettiest door, i'm tellin ya) ... but the windows in our home are all so old that the shadows are all marble or smokey because of the glass imperfections ... light and shadows amaze me ...
my image is of a quiet spot in our home where one pretty little pattypan shines like a bright light next to the fuzzy violet ...
and then i added the texture twice ... once 'straight up' and the second i turned 90 degrees to give a cross hatch effect ... hmmmm ...
