2 blessed beyond belief

good morning prairie girl,

oh my i so love your baking image!  i mean LOVE it.... and amy and ann.... what a most fabulous site and a definite fav of mine too.  there are so many mouth watering images on their blog.

so how was the harp playing and the wedding?  you have such a gift... and i must say, what a wonderful touch for a wedding reception.  sigh.

i wanted to share 2 images with you today.  the first is a pic of 2 things i love.  old doors and twinkly lights. :)

the second shares a holiday/winter tradition for john and i.  and sometimes, if we are lucky, the boys join us.  john made the nuts & bolts yesterday, which reminded me of playing scrabble, because we always have a little snack while we play the game.  so i was so happy that we were able to steal a few hours to play.  i am  really bad at it....and i rarely win.  as you can see by the board, there are very few big words used. :) i did have to giggle though, that one of the words is font.  you and i both love our fonts. anyhow, it's just fun to stop the rush, rush and enjoy some quiet time together in our warm home. 

well my friend, here's to a quiet and peaceful sunday ahead.. we are off to my mom's (across the street) for dinner with family.  i hope to do a little tidying around here, maybe some baking and take a nice long walk as well.  how bout you?
