good late late evening, kim!
omgoodness, i can't believe how hard you have been working on your
stay.cation project ...
and how happy you must be to have officially 'given birth' to this baby ... woot! congratulations!!
i just wanted to share a bit about the wedding this weekend ...
the above image is the setting for the wedding ... at the wishing well ... at the beautiful lake
in the national park ... oh so very close to us!
and, with all this talk about playing harp and weddings and all, i thought i ought to include a pic of me in action (well, maybe a bit too much action ~ hb has caught me jibbering about something ... : )
i thought
beth and
tammy lee would like to see me (i did it, beth!), and my harp (a little irish one, tammy!) ...
there is so so much history in this park ...
including the dance hall ~ all log and so nostalgic ...
in the early days, it was home to big band dances ...
and it truly held magic for this lucky bride and groom on their very special night ...
(this is the bride and her dad, and the groom and his mom dancing amidst the lights ... )
and a very sweet touch to the evening and celebration were these beautiful little jars of homemade raspberry jam ...
delightful flavours for each of the guests to savour ...
lovingly prepared by the bride and her mom!
i have a couple of more things to add to this post, but will do so in the morning (eep! it IS morning! ; ) ...
so, i'll return to add some links et al ...
hope you are resting well tonight ...
sweetest 2bbb and stay.cation dreams!
love,
prairiegirl
